Original Summary
we're a 12 person IT services agency in the US. we sell to saas and tech companies, 20 to 200 employees, mostly founders, CTOs and heads of engineering. we always knew who we wanted to reach, that was never the problem. the problem was outbound took way too much manual time. finding people, getting emails that actually work, following up on time, and then getting an interested reply onto the calendar. didn't want to hire another SDR so we broke it into parts and used a tool for each one. 1. linkedin.com sales navigator for finding prospects we build lists by company size, industry, location, job title. we keep saved searches running so we're not starting from zero every day, just keep adding founders, CTOs and eng leaders that fit. 2. hunter.io for emails once we have the person, hunter finds the work email and checks if it's deliverable before we send anything. cleaner data, less bounces. 3. sdrclose.com for outreach and follow ups this was the repetitive part. we used to write every first email by hand and try to remember who needed a follow up. now sdrclose does the personalized first email and the follow up sequence. it also helps with replies, so if someone's interested we see it fast and it doesn't just sit in the inbox. 4. cal.com for booking when someone's interested we don't want another email thread going back and forth. they get our open times from cal, pick one, done. 5. hubspot.com for pipeline once someone books a meeting or turns into a real opportunity it goes into hubspot. contacts, conversations, deals, stages, all in one place. before it was spreadsheets and inboxes. after 90 days: outbound meetings went from 5 a month to 18 prospecting went from around 180 a week to 600+ our sales manager used to spend about 15 hrs a week on manual prospecting and follow ups, now it's around 6 same team, no new SDR. nothing fancy really, no single tool did it. each one does its one job and we stopped doing those bits by hand. that's pretty much it submitted by /u/Stock-Comment-61 [link] [comments]
