Original Summary
As an indie developer, I move between different kinds of work—design, coding, 3D modeling, and marketing. Each one tends to need a different set of apps and window positions, and setting everything up again became a small but constant interruption. So I built biomes , a free, open-source workspace manager for Windows. You can save app layouts for different activities, arrange them across your monitors, and bring them back with a click or hotkey. It can reopen apps that aren’t running and place available windows into their saved zones. It saves window layouts; it doesn’t restore project files or browser tabs. I’m sharing it in case it helps other people who regularly switch between different kinds of work. biomes on GitHub How do you handle switching between work setups today? submitted by /u/RaspberryStill3377 [link] [comments]
