Hello, I am a solo dev and ATJV is out on iOS since the 1st, it's an app to find what to watch tonight (TV shows only, no tracking). I spent months on the recommendation algo while the app had nine users, so it was recommending to nobody. I should have done it later. I also thought the other apps were the problem. I went and counted the ratings on the US, French and UK stores, one app very close to mine is out since end of 2023 and has around 360, another one came out in March and has already 399. I don't think it's better, they just went to the places where people were talking about it and I did not. And I had notes about my setup that were weeks old and I trusted them, I almost rebuilt things that were already done.
