Original Summary

Hey r/SideProject . After a few months of evenings and weekends I finally launched Watch2Night. The idea came from the usual Friday night problem: 40 minutes of scrolling, zero decisions. So I made it work like this (Tinder mechanics was an obvious inspiration here): Pick the streaming platforms you actually have, and a genre or mood. Swipe through movies and series. Swipe right to add a title to your favorites list, swipe left to dismiss it. Missed something by accident? There's a rewind button to go back. Every title shows where it streams in your country, so no more picking something you can't watch. Your picks end up in a favorites list that you can share with whoever you're watching with. You can also tap the eye icon on any title to mark it as already watched. Its poster turns black and white, so you always see what's still left to watch. There's no account to create. It works in 7 languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Hindi, Polish), and streaming info covers these 11 countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, India, Mexico, Spain, Brazil, France, Germany, Poland Solo project, built with FastAPI and a Capacitor wrapper for Android. And if the streaming info is wrong for your country, please let me know. submitted by /u/MACARLOS [link] [comments]
