Original Summary
Hi everyone, I know there are a lot of people here who have had success selling SaaS and apps, so I’d really love to hear your advice based on your personal experience. I’ve been learning how to develop software for about a year now, mainly to make my own life easier when it comes to work-related tasks. I even built a fully functional skincare app for my girlfriend, with a deterministic engine that generates personalized routines. However… holy shit, getting a client is hard. I’ve tried offering AI receptionists to clinics and renovation companies, quote-generation tools to construction companies, and a bunch of other things, but nothing seems to work. I haven’t made a single dollar from it. It’s incredibly frustrating. I’m not going to give up because I know I have a lot of value to bring to the market, but I really need honest feedback from people who have already achieved what I’ve been trying to achieve for the past year. I know the problem is probably on my end. I’m sure I’m making a lot of mistakes when it comes to prospecting and designing my offers. But damn, I genuinely want to help and provide value. I just feel like I keep running into a wall every time I go out there and try to sell my services. submitted by /u/Willing_Golf2929 [link] [comments]
