I’m the developer of PhotoDesk 2026, a Windows photo manager for people who want a local library instead of a required cloud service. Originals, face data, and the search index stay on the PC by default; encrypted cloud backup is optional. Current features include face/People grouping, albums and timeline, tags, duplicate finding, OCR/text/license-plate search, video scanning, and a photo editor.
