Original Summary

Hello, so I finished building my app, testing it, payments, and everything else. The only thing remaining is to publish the latest code changes, but I'm stuck with a poor landing page. I would like to have a short motion graphics promo that feels expensive and high quality. I have basic After Effects knowledge, but I don't want to invest another 3 months of my life just to make a video. You might recommend paying a freelancer, but that's not an option because my budget is very, very tight. So should I go all in and master After Effects, which could also help me produce high-quality YouTube videos for my app alongside a simple promo for my landing page? Or should I skip it, just launch the app, screen record it, and explain how it works? I feel like if I start learning After Effects, I might get sucked into a deep rabbit hole because I have a perfectionist mindset when it comes to design. Recently, I saw Figma introducing Figma Motion, which feels easy to use, but I don't think it's enough. I'm tired of waiting and coding. I want to see people actually using my app and giving me real feedback. I want to finally earn something from all the hard work I've put into coding. Any advice would be very appreciated. submitted by /u/CueMeThen [link] [comments]
