I'm Kerim, I don’t plan meals for the week, I have no time and nerves between day to day job and building apps. But to stay healthy, save money and get in shape you have to. Thankfully my gf does it, but it’s still a hustle. She saves random TikTok link in our WhatsApp chat, has cook books flying around and everything gets messy. And I have to ask every night what we eat, where the recipe is to cook (I like the cooking part), actually find it and watch a TikTok 100times to cook. We loose all recipes we liked, always cook the same dish, have to run to the store 4 times a week and so on. So as a Software dev naturally I built https://plateful.cloud What it does today: - Import from TikTok / Instagram links and turn the video into a written recipe (ingredients + steps) - automatically get nutrition insights - Adapt it: make a recipe healthier or higher-protein - Step-by-step cook mode with built-in timers - meal plan and shopping list - Household library: one shared collection for everyone at home - iOS, Android, and web [Screenshot 1: pasting a TikTok link → resulting recipe card] [Screenshot 2: make it high protein before/after] [Screenshot 3: cook mode with timer running] [Screenshot 4: shared household library] Pricing: 14-day free trial, then €6.99/month or €64.99/year per household (not per person). I bake much AI into this app and try to make it premium UI/UX wise. That’s what I’m wanting from an app like that and why I’ didn’t found an alternative. If you find it too expensive, please tell me what’s missing for you so it actually helps you and is worth the price! Whats not great yet: 1. The import can take a bit longer than other apps, mainly because we really watch the whole recipe so it even works when there is no written recipe and no recipe said in the video (still only like 10sek or so) 2. iOS App is the good one, Android and web is also functional but I don’t like it UI/UX wise, iOS is my focus and I try to improve android as well but don’t have much users there.
