Original Summary

I'm the solo builder behind Snapopa (snapopa.com), another screenshot API, yes. Built it because existing options had gaps, JS heavy pages timing out, can't block ads efficiently, pricing that didn't fit smaller volume, have to store screenshot myself, etc. my target audience is developers, and the space already has established players with years of SEO and free tiers behind them. When I show it to other devs, the reaction is usually "that's clean", or "nice tools", but doesn't turn into anyone wants to switching over. For anyone who has sold a dev tool into a market with an existing incumbent: how did you get past interest into someone actually integrating it? Maybe more features? did you target people already paying for a competitor, or people with no solution at all? What actually worked, content, cold outreach, something else? 🙏🙏🙏 submitted by /u/thien_pp [link] [comments]
