I’m a solo developer and I’ve been building a weather app called MeteoLupa. The idea came from a really simple frustration: weather apps tell me it’s 20°C today, but that number alone doesn’t tell me whether today is actually unusual. So I started building the app around historical context instead. You can compare today with previous years, climate averages, specific dates and months, and there’s now a Lens view where you can move backwards through time for the same place and local hour. I’ve been working on it for a while now and most of the recent changes have come from people reporting bugs or asking for things I hadn’t thought about. It’s completely free, no ads, no subscription, no paid features. There are optional tips, but they don’t unlock anything.
