After seeing the whole Daejon Love situation, I kept thinking about how difficult it may be to actually verify whether someone is a larp or legit.. Someone can have photos, followers, articles about them, a convincing career story, and seemingly enough of a digital footprint that most people would never think twice about it. I mean "Daejon" was somehow able to scam multiple women out of $1.3M. So I built LarpOrLegit.com. The idea is simple: instead of blindly trusting someone's online persona, you can research the claims they're making and look for inconsistencies, red flags, and evidence that supports or contradicts their story. I'm trying to build it less like a "gossip" site and more like a due-diligence tool. The biggest thing I'm still figuring out is how to make the results useful without encouraging witch hunts or treating unverified allegations like facts. Would love brutally honest feedback: Would you actually use something like this before dating, doing business with, or sending money to someone? What signals would you want it to check?
