Original Summary
Hi everyone! For the past few months I've been building my own lightweight P2P network, and I think it's ready for real-world testing. What's available Axon : a custom web browser built for the network, on the Microsoft Store. Browse peer-hosted websites like you would the public internet. Saturn : a Chrome extension that gives Chrome access to the network. Mercury (Chrome extension) : send and receive messages over the network from Chrome. Mercury (Android) : a P2P messenger on Google Play, with voice calls and asynchronous messaging (you can send while the recipient is offline). Plexus Mail : a PWA email client on the Microsoft Store. Both sender and recipient need to be using the app. Sites to try Site In Axon In Saturn Web radio mesh://webradio.site webradio.site Web TV mesh://webtv.site webtv.site In the Know mesh://intheknow.site intheknow.site Static mesh://static.site static.site Please manage your expectations. This is a proof of concept: far from complete, not fully stress tested, and likely to have rough edges and undiscovered bugs. Feedback and bug reports are very welcome. submitted by /u/chukoizkie [link] [comments]
