Original Summary
I'm building Evopien as a solo project in Tarragona, Spain. The long term goal is a physical AI companion, and the current prototype runs on NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor. The newest update is about memory. I want someone to be able to tell it a useful preference, have that preference matter later, and change or remove it when needed. For example, a cooking preference should affect a dinner suggestion without having to repeat it in every conversation. If that preference changes, the previous version should stop influencing the answer. I've kept the memory controls in Evopien Core, separately from the language model, and recorded a demo of the current governed memory work. Demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_B2wVfVHL0c It's an early prototype. I'm still working on speed and difficult memory corrections, including behavior across English and Spanish. I'd be interested in feedback on the controls themselves. What would make it clear to you that a companion had actually corrected or forgotten something? submitted by /u/SoftKill21 [link] [comments]
