Six months into www.Mood2Know,.com I now have nearly 6000 anonymous mood entries from around the world. Here’s the latest average mood ranking by continent (1–10 scale): 1. Oceania --> 6.21 (n=214) 2. Asia --> 6.14 (n=664) ⬆️ 1 3. Europe --> 6.13 (n=2,822) ⬇️ 1 4. Africa --> 6.03 (n=68) — 5. North America --> 5.76 (n=1,955) ⬆️ 1 6. South America --> 5.74 (n=184) ⬇️ 1 Compared with my previous snapshot: Oceania: 6.26 → 6.21 (-0.05) Asia: 6.09 → 6.14 (+0.05) Europe: 6.11 → 6.13 (+0.02) Africa: 6.02 → 6.03 (+0.01) North America: 5.80 → 5.76 (-0.04) South America: 5.95 → 5.74 (-0.21) The biggest change is South America , while Asia has now narrowly overtaken Europe . The dataset grew from 4,450 to 5,907 entries (+1,457) since the previous ranking. Mood2Know is still a side project based on voluntary, self-reported entries, so this isn't meant to be representative polling. I'm mostly interested in seeing what patterns emerge as the dataset grows. After six months, the hardest part is no longer building the site.
