I'm here again, I have posted here earlier about week ago After the last few updates, I've been able to use Masarify much more consistently with way less hassle, and I've been tracking my expenses a lot more easily. I've also started collecting feedback and real use cases, both from users and from my own daily usage, and turning them into small improvements instead of waiting for big releases. -Thanks everyone who cared to give me some feedback- here's some scenarios that happened to me A few days ago, I withdrew some cash from an ATM. Masarify automatically detected the transaction and treated it as a normal expense. But I already have both a Cash account and a Bank account in the app, and I hadn't actually spent that money yet. So technically, this wasn't an expense. It was a transfer from my bank account to my cash account. That made me realize that the Overlay shouldn't just detect deposits and withdrawals. It should also understand that some of these transactions are actually transfers between my own accounts. So that's now part of the new update. If you withdraw cash from an ATM, Masarify can now treat it as a transfer from your bank account to your cash account instead of incorrectly counting it as an expense. Transfers between accounts with different currencies are also handled properly now, including the exchange rate, instead of just recording the two amounts as separate numbers. And honestly, the little OCD part of me is finally happy because the actual balance now matches the balance in the app. 😅 Another important improvement in this update is that automatic transaction detection now works with notifications, not just SMS. And the entire detection process works completely offline. No transaction data is sent to a server. This was important to me because financial notifications and SMS messages are obviously sensitive data. I'm probably going to keep doing small updates like this on a weekly basis for a while, depending on my own needs and the feedback I get.
