Hi HN,<p>Ever since I started skiing 2 years ago, I&#x27;ve been completely obsessed with skiing and all aspects of going on a ski trip (the scenery, the food, the thrill of skiing, the community).<p>I was looking at the different ski tracking apps out there but none of them met my need: simple, give me a big living map showing an overview of my ski journey, and let me track exact slopes I’ve ridden with stats like how many red and black runs I&#x27;ve done.<p>No other app does this, and that was my motivation to build Slopely.<p>This has been an absolutely beautiful project for me as I get to work on something I’m passionate about. I also get to work with map technology, which I find very fascinating. Map is quite a nice medium to build applications on. I built this app thankfully to a lot of open source&#x2F;free map technologies like MapTiler, OpenSkiMap, OpenFreeMap, OpenStreetMap<p>If you&#x27;re a fellow skier or snowboarder, please give it a try and let me know what you think.
