I kept rewriting prompts blindly every time ChatGPT gave me something off. Most of the time the real problem was boring: the model didn't have some context, or my request could be read two ways, or it just never saw the file I mentioned. So I made a Chrome side panel extension: paste the prompt and the answer, and it names the cause and writes the follow-up message for the same chat. It also says when your prompt isn't the problem, which turned out to be surprisingly common.
