I'm an engineer with no shortage of ideas, but I'm trying to actually launch a company instead of collecting prototypes. I've built one that's narrow but I think has legs, embedded infrastructure that a vertical SaaS product drops into their app rather than building in-house. The problem: my buyers all have engineering teams, and with AI coding tools those teams can spin up a rough version of almost anything in a week. "We'll just build it" is the default answer now in a way it wasn't three years ago.
