Original Summary
Hey everyone, I've been working on ChessMemo , a web app for players who want to learn and regularly review their chess opening repertoires. The idea is pretty simple: you import your PGN repertoire, and ChessMemo turns it into something you can actually train instead of just keeping a huge PGN file that you rarely open. The app currently includes: PGN repertoire importing A Learn mode for studying new variations A Review system for revisiting positions you've already learned A Mistakes section so you can focus on positions you got wrong Chapters and variations to keep larger repertoires organized Training tools such as hints, arrows/circles and automatic progression Private repertoires — your imported PGNs aren't visible to other users I've been building and improving it continuously based on feedback from the first users. ChessMemo is still in beta. There are definitely still bugs and rough edges, and some parts of the UX will continue to change. I'm working on it almost every day, so the app is improving pretty quickly. This Reddit post is also partly a way for me to get feedback from people outside the small group that has been testing it so far. If you try it and something feels confusing, annoying, broken, or simply missing, please tell me . Feature ideas are welcome too — even small suggestions can be useful. You can try it here: https://chessmemo.pro I'd especially be interested in hearing how it feels with your own repertoire and your normal opening-training workflow. Thanks to anyone who gives it a try :) submitted by /u/Heavy_Menu1076 [link] [comments]
