Original Summary
Our iPhones kept running out of space. The usual fixes were paying for more iCloud every month, or deleting photos and hoping they were backed up somewhere. So I built a Mac app for it. How it works: Plug the iPhone into your Mac Click Copy. Every photo and video lands in a normal folder on your Mac, and each copy is checked against the original (SHA-256) Delete them from the iPhone if you want. Unload only deletes what it has copied and checked The tricky part wasn't copying, it was making the delete trustworthy. If the cable comes out halfway, it tells you exactly what was and wasn't deleted, and picks up where it stopped. $14.99 once, no subscription. The first 200 photos and videos are free, so you can try it on your own phone. macOS 15+, notarized. https://unload.to Feedback welcome, especially on the site and the first-run experience. submitted by /u/christian-ek [link] [comments]
