I built VectorRaptor for Windows - looking for honest feedback on vectorisation quality and editing

https://reddit.com/link/1wvw2tl/video/i9hkdqc6g2th1/player Hi everyone! I’m Przemek, the developer of VectorRaptor , a Windows desktop app that turns raster images into editable vector graphics. I’d love some honest feedback from people working with logos, illustrations and other graphics. I’ve tested it on my own files, but I want to see how it handles the images and workflows other people actually use. The goal is simple: high-quality, fully editable vectors ==> made easy. You can convert an image, compare the result with the original, then adjust paths, colours and gradients directly in the app before exporting. Images are processed locally on your computer. What’s included: PNG, JPG, WEBP, BMP and TIFF input. Automatic settings and manual conversion controls. Path and node editing, fills, gradients, joining shapes and removing unwanted pieces. Pro export to SVG, PDF, EPS, Illustrator-compatible AI, PSD with native shape layers, and PNG. Editable project saving with Pro. An interface in English, Polish, German and Spanish. Version 3.0.1 also includes a dedicated photo mode , which converts photographs into many coloured vector shapes for SVG export. This separate mode doesn’t support in-app editing or project saving. I believe the combination of conversion quality and intuitive live editing is VectorRaptor’s strongest point. If you already use another vectorisation tool, I’d really appreciate a comparison using the same source image. How does the result look, how much cleanup is needed, and how practical are the paths to edit afterwards? Pro codes so you can test saving and exporting The demo lets you try conversion, preview and editing, but saving and exporting require Pro. To let people test the complete workflow, I’ve made these codes available: FIRST10VR100 — 100% off your first month of Pro , limited to 10 total redemptions . FIRST100VR50 — 50% off your first month of Pro , limited to 100 total redemptions . Enter either code at checkout while redemptions remain. These are shared limits across all places where I post the offer. Both discounts apply to the first month only. This starts a monthly subscription, which renews at the selected plan’s regular price unless cancelled before renewal. There’s no requirement to post a review or leave a positive rating to use a code. What I’d like to know Does the conversion preserve the details that matter? Are the editing tools intuitive? How much manual cleanup do you need? Do exported files work correctly in your usual design software? What would make you choose another tool instead? If something goes wrong, your settings and a screenshot of the original versus the result would help. For performance issues, please include the image dimensions and your PC specifications. Only share images you have permission to post. Website, examples and download: vectorraptor.com Specific criticism is welcome. If another tool handles your image better, I’d genuinely like to understand where the difference is. T
