Original Summary
I've been sourcing manufacturers for my own product brands since 2020, and the hardest part has never been the idea. It's figuring out who can actually make it, which factories are real, and what the MOQ and pricing actually look like. So I built Bazepoint. You fill out a short brief about your product (what it is, how many units, any requirements), and I go find 3 to 4 manufacturers who could make it, with their MOQ, pricing and capabilities. There's no AI magic yet. I'm doing every brief by hand to see if people actually find this useful before I automate anything. I'm also flying to Guangzhou this weekend to visit factories in person and walk the Canton Fair. Where I'm stuck: I don't know yet if people want a shortlist, or if what they really need is help after that (quotes, samples, negotiating). If you've sourced a product before, what was the part that actually hurt? Link: https://www.bazepoint.com submitted by /u/Beneficial_Cup9038 [link] [comments]
