Original Summary
Context: I built ProofRound, an AI interviewer that turns a job description plus a candidate's CV into a tailored interview kit in under 20 seconds. Questions map to the actual claims in the CV, and the output is a structured evaluation a hiring manager can defend. I spend a lot of time watching recruiters use it. Some things surprised me: Nobody trusts a score without receipts. Early version gave a rating per answer. Everyone ignored it. The moment we made every question cite the specific CV claim it was testing, people started trusting the output. Show your work or get ignored. Recruiters don't want harder questions, they want fairer ones. Generic brainteasers made candidates angry and predicted nothing. Questions tied to what the person actually wrote turned out to be both harder to fake and easier to defend. The CV is now a marketing document. Almost every CV we see has been through AI polish. The interview has quietly become the real source of truth, and most companies still run it like a vibes check. Structured beats senior. A junior recruiter with a good structured kit out-screens a senior one going off gut feel. That one stung a bit to learn. Speed is the killer feature. Under 20 seconds from pasted JD and CV to a full interview kit. The feedback we get most is some version of "I used to spend my Sunday night building these". Happy to answer anything about how we generate questions, how we score answers, or the stack. Tear it apart, that's the point of this sub. submitted by /u/shortsqueezechaser [link] [comments]
