I have been working on a small side project related to hiring and I am trying to figure out which problem is really worth solving before I invest too much time into building it. The more I look into this area the more I realize how scattered everything is. Theres LinkedIn and Indeed for finding candidates, ATS tools for managing applications platforms like MeeBoss and Hirect, separate tools for interviews and scheduling and a lot of recruiters still rely on spreadsheets and email to piece everything together. I am thinking about building something that focuses on just one part of the hiring process instead of creating another big all in one hiring platform. The things I keep coming back to are matching the right candidates, reducing duplicate applications, keeping track of candidate detail
