Original Summary

I shipped a new experiment on Moonshoot today. everyone who has claimed a km now gets exactly 1 fuel per day. you can’t use it on yourself. you have to give it to someone else’s km. the 3 most fuelled kms from yesterday become Today’s Cargo and sit at the top of the homepage for the next day. simple enough. but someone on Reddit pointed out something I think is important: getting people to come back and press a button does not automatically mean I created value. if a project reaches the top and gets nothing from it, then I just built another engagement loop. so now I’m tracking the part that actually matters: did the boosted km get more profile views? did people click the project? did anyone discover something they actually cared about? did the owner get something meaningful from being there? I like the mechanic. but now it has to earn its existence. submitted by /u/Emergency-Pack2500 [link] [comments]
