Yeah title. I basically build almost everything with coding agents now. The speed is great, but the thing that keeps bugging me is that like after the agent makes a big change, how do I actually know login, payments and the other stuff that matters still work? The ai just says "done" and the tests are green, etc etc. But sometimes lets say a test got quietly skipped or rewritten, or the change touched something nobody asked it to touch. So I'm building something small for this. You pick a few things in your app that must never break. After every change it tells you, for each one, whether its test ran and passed, whether a test was deleted, skipped or changed, and where there's just no evidence at all. No "your app is safe" claims, only what was actually checked. Mostly I want to know, has an ai changed something that broke something important on you without you noticing right away? and how do you catch this stuff today? and finally, would something like this have helped, or is it solving a problem you don't have?   submitted by   /u/Powerful-Fly-9403 [link]   [comments]
