I'm a data-center tech and lifter who got tired of squinting at nutrition PDFs in drive-thru lines trying to find the highest-protein thing on a menu. So I built FastFuel It's 106 chains and ~36,000 menu items, all from the chains' own published nutrition numbers. Filter by protein, carbs, or calories; compare two items head-to-head (Big Mac vs Whopper); run chain-vs-chain top-5 protein showdowns; or use the near-me page to rank what's around you by protein. The whole thing is fully static — pre-rendered pages on Cloudflare Pages' free tier, zero hosting cost. The dataset started from a 2018 public nutrition dump and I re-sweep chains from their official PDFs; anything physically impossible (I once found a lemonade listed with 138g of protein) gets quarantined from the rankings until it's fixed. No ads, no account, nothing for sale — passion project.
