In the last couple of months, I’ve replaced three of my video editing tools with one I built myself. I’m solving my product demo editing problems one by one. The goal is to eventually have everything I need in one place. At first, it was just for me. Then I shared it with a few colleagues. Eventually, I decided to publish it and see if anyone else would find it useful. It now has 10 paying users, with zero spent on marketing. It’s not a lot of money yet, but having people pay for something I built to scratch my own itch feels pretty great. And the feedback has been the best part.
