Original Summary
I recently launched AI Cite Who , and I’ve been using it to improve its own website. I’m the developer. Here’s how I’d choose between it, Otterly, Peec AI and Profound, based on their public product information. I’d consider AI Cite Who if I ran a small SaaS, mainly cared about ChatGPT, and wanted help deciding what to change on my website. You select buyer questions, check which products get recommended, read the answers and cited pages, and compare competitors. The report separates recommendations, mentions and citations, then suggests specific website tasks and third-party opportunities to investigate. For me, the useful output is something like: “These questions brought up competitors. These pages were cited. Here’s where your website could explain the product more clearly, and here’s what to work on next.” The website review is free. Paid plans start at $49.90/month. Recommendation checks currently cover ChatGPT only. I’d look at Otterly if daily monitoring across several AI platforms were my priority. Its $29/month Lite plan tracks 15 prompts across four engines daily and also includes citation analysis and GEO audits. At that listed frequency, 15 prompts across four engines over 30 days is roughly 1,800 observations. That’s a monitoring-volume estimate, not a count of API calls. If you mainly want lots of repeated checks, that’s an important difference. I wouldn’t compare these subscriptions on “price per prompt” alone. With AI Cite Who, the reason to pay would be the question-level evidence and the resulting action report. I’d look at Peec AI for regular team reporting across models and competitors. Its brand Starter plan is $95/month for 50 prompts and three selected models, with visibility, sentiment, position and source analytics. It also has separate agency plans. I’d look at Profound for a larger marketing operation that needs AI search insights, marketing agents and team workflows. Its current Enterprise pricing is custom. My first audit of my own site was 10 buyer questions and zero recommendations. I used the suggestions to make the pricing explanation clearer, add a comparison page, and share the project on a third-party platform. A few people have since signed up and tried the analysis. I can now find AI Cite Who by searching its brand name in ChatGPT, too. I’ll keep improving the site and checking the same buyer questions. The goal is to get recommended when someone needs a tool like this, and turn some of that interest into paying customers.
