It makes you upload the whole thing, wait in a queue, and then gives you back something either still too big or blurry. Sometimes with a watermark. What I wanted instead: - type the size I need (WhatsApp 16 MB, email, Discord 20 MB, or any number) - get the sharpest video that fits that size, not a random "medium" preset - flip between it and the original before downloading - no upload, so no waiting on a progress bar That's VidFold. It runs on your own computer in the browser. The screenshot is a real run: 77.4 MB 1080p clip down to 13.8 MB, still 1080p, in 3.5 seconds. It also trims (lossless when nothing else changes), crops to 9:16, extracts MP3 and strips GPS data by default. Free, no account, no ads. Needs Chrome, Edge or Opera for now.
