Hey everyone, I’m Marco. I usually use Reddit for tracking my bodybuilding progress, so pivoting to share a project like this is definitely new for me. For the last 10 months, I’ve been working on Vewya.com almost entirely by myself. My background is in UX Design and I know how to code as well, but Ai has helped me fulfill this idea to what it is now. I built Vewya to give that knowledge a place to live, where people can find it, see all the connections, contribute to it, and use it. I wanted to deliver all this in many different visual ways as possible. I want to give people the power to not bankroll what they stand against. And just as importantly, find the businesses and people they actually want to support. Vewya lets you: Find businesses by name, location, category, or issue. Set your views and see your personal match across eight areas: political involvement, religious involvement, environmental responsibility, social impact, wages, transparency, consumer rights, and community involvement. Explore ownership and leadership , including parent companies, subsidiaries, and the people behind them. Follow financial connections through recorded donations, government contracts, and disclosed stock trades. View thousands of high profile individuals See updated statistics e.g. Net Worths of most of the profiles in the database Read and contribute reviews with supporting evidence. A star rating and a value match answer different questions. You can love a company’s product and disagree with its actions. Both deserve to be visible. The Profiles section is a huge part of this. You can explore business leaders, politicians, prominent people, and families, with dedicated sections for senators, representatives, governors, and the executive branch. Where records are available, profiles bring together professional roles, business connections, family relationships, estimated net worth, donations made, and financial support received. I want you to be able to look up a familiar name and understand who they’re connected to, what they fund, and who helps fund their campaign. AIPAC is one example of why this matters for our government.
