Hi reddit, I'm the founder of Lighthouse, a web app that helps homeowners and buyers understand their mortgage paperwork. What it does: you upload a Loan Estimate, Closing Disclosure, mortgage statement or escrow letter and ask questions about it in plain language, in English or Spanish. It can also compare a Loan Estimate to a Closing Disclosure and flag what changed. Why I built it: I wanted a mortgage tool with no lender / sales pitch behind it.
