I'm a 3rd-year Computer Engineering student and finally shipped my personal portfolio. Instead of making the usual landing page + project cards, I built it as a small interactive workstation. There's a filesystem-style project browser, workspaces, terminal, local deterministic Agent, an interactive graph connecting my projects/research/OSS work, a tiny game, and Pry — the pixel thing wandering around the screen. I tried to make the weirdness optional though. Someone who just wants to see my projects, research or open-source work should still be able to get there quickly. I'm mainly looking for criticism rather than compliments: Is the workstation concept interesting or just annoying? Can you understand what I actually work on within ~30 seconds? Is navigation intuitive without me explaining it? What feels unnecessary/overengineered? How is the mobile experience? If you were a recruiter/engineer/researcher, what would make you close the site?
