Hi all, I'm the developer of PodMelody. It plays your podcasts and your Apple Music in one continuous queue: an episode, then however many songs you choose, then the next episode. It runs on iPhone, iPad, Apple silicon Macs and CarPlay, and syncs through iCloud. 1.1.5 is out today, and it's the iOS 27 release. Ask Siri by name On iOS 27 you can ask Siri to play a show, podcast station, or Apple Music playlist or station by name, find and follow a new podcast, or add an episode to Up Next. Speed, skip back and the sleep timer work too, and your shows turn up in Spotlight. (English only for now.). This took far more work than I expected to update things from the old app intents shortcut system! Two looks to choose from PodMelody has its own Editorial design, and System, which looks like the rest of iOS. Both are included free, in light, dark or auto. Plus subscribers also get 28 accent colours. Also in this release Better VoiceOver navigation, a more compact Home, cleaner playback below 1× and a round of fixes. What's free Core listening is free, with no ads and no account. Plus adds offline downloads, pro audio, transcripts, bigger mixes, expanded CarPlay and accent colours, with a one-month free trial on the annual plan. You'll need Apple Music for the music side; podcasts work without it.
