I make Beatstack, so this is my own project, posted for feedback rather than a launch. It covers the planning half of screenwriting: acts, sequences, scenes and beats on a Board, a Writer for the pages, a Fountain export, and some AI help when you want a second pair of eyes on structure. The board and the script stay in step, which is the bit I could never get out of a spreadsheet plus a corkboard. What I care about most: a project is one JSON file on your own disk. No account, no sync, nothing of yours on a server. The AI runs on your own OpenRouter key if you have one, or on three free passes so you can see whether it is any use before paying anything. There is a 15-day trial at beatstack.io if you want to poke at it. Two things I would genuinely like feedback on: whether the Board's act / sequence / scene / beat hierarchy is the right depth, and how the AI should behave when you ask it to develop a sequence.
