I built an iPhone app called Linus. It analyzes your photo library privately on-device and creates a FriendRank based on who actually shows up most in your life. But the ranking is really just the starting point. Linus is meant to be private social for the people already in your life — not followers or strangers. You can tap into someone to see your history together, build a timeline, share photos, and eventually combine memories from both sides. I originally built it because I wanted a better way to organize and combine photos of my kids across multiple devices. While building it, I realized the same system creates a pretty interesting picture of your real social circle. Your photo library isn’t uploaded.
