Original Summary

I'm the maker of 他爱我吗 (Does He Love Me?), a Chinese-language iOS side project for reflecting on relationship questions. It runs Laya locally through Core ML: you describe a situation and compare candidate answers, including an uncertain option. Chinese speech input is transcribed locally with SenseVoice. No account or cloud inference is needed. The part I'd like feedback on is the output. A percentage is easy to scan, but it can look more authoritative than it deserves. These are relative model scores, not calibrated probabilities of someone's feelings. The model can't know what another person is thinking. Short explanations are template-based. If you're exploring Jev-style decision systems, this uses local Laya inference, not the Jev API. Credit to the Laya project and the laya-coreml port for making this experiment possible. For this kind of interface, would you prefer ranked answers, relative score bars, or a more prominent uncertainty state? How would you test whether users understand the difference? Screenshots and the iOS download link: https://doesheloveme.tennote.site/en/ The app currently has a Chinese UI and is a paid download. I'm sharing it as the developer and would welcome critical feedback, especially from people building on-device AI apps. Disclosure: AI assisted with drafting this post. submitted by /u/Builderyang [link] [comments]
